The Philly Open took place on Saturday, March 31, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the second oldest disc golf course in the nation, the famous Sedgley Disc Golf Course at Fairmount Park. This was a United States Amateur Disc Golf Championships Qualifying Event and a PDGA sanctioned B-tier tournament with 68 disc golfer coming out to compete.

The Michigan Spring Fling took place on Saturday, March 24 at Seymour Lake Park Disc Golf Course in Oxford, Michigan. With 39 disc golf players in this PDGA sanctioned C-tier event it was Mike Henry of Royal Oak, Michigan who captured the victory in the open division with a final score of 12-under par.
